About Me

Hello, my name is Rosie Phillips. I am a trained oboist, having studied Music at the University of Manchester and subsequently as a postgraduate at the Royal College of Music.

 

After many years as both a classroom music teacher and instrumental woodwind teacher, I decided to combine my love of music and handiwork and to retrain as an instrument repairer. I studied at the Llangunllo School of Instrument Repair, undertaking foundation and advanced courses in woodwind instrument repair.

 

I work from my studio at home in the village of Marden in the beautiful Weald of Kent.
